WIN Secure Note · Last updated: October 22, 2026

WIN Secure Note Team provides WIN Secure Note, a native Android notebook with local notes, optional PIN protection, and scheduled reminders. This policy explains the app’s data handling and the website used to display this policy.

What “WIN” means. WIN stands for Write, Isolate, Never leak. “Write” is the simple act of capturing a note; “Isolate” means your notebook stays on your device and can be encrypted locally; “Never leak” refers to your notes: they are not uploaded for cloud synchronization and are not sent to the third-party services described in section 6. They leave the app only when you choose to export, back up, or share them.

1. Notes and local storage

Notes and app security preferences are stored locally on your device. The app does not upload your notes to our servers and does not offer cloud note synchronization or user accounts. Android cloud backup of the note database and security preferences is disabled.

2. Optional PIN protection

When you enable PIN protection, the notes database is encrypted locally with SQLCipher using AES-256. PINs must contain at least six digits. Plaintext PINs are not stored. Protect your PIN: we do not hold a recovery key and cannot recover an encrypted notebook if you lose it.

3. Failed PIN attempts

If you enable the optional failed-attempt protection, reaching your configured limit permanently wipes the local database and its security data. This may cause irreversible loss of your notes. Exported backup files are separate and are not removed by this feature.

4. Reminders and permissions

Notification permission lets the app show your scheduled reminders. Exact alarm access allows reminders to run at their scheduled time; boot access restores scheduled reminders after a restart. With PIN protection enabled, reminder notifications use generic text and their alarm intents contain no note content.

5. Exporting and restoring backups

Backup export and restore use Android’s Storage Access Framework. You choose the file and destination without giving the app broad storage access. Backups exported while PIN protection is enabled are encrypted and require the export PIN to restore. If you choose a cloud-backed destination in the file picker, that provider handles the file under its own policy. Restoring a backup replaces the current notebook.

6. Advertising ID and third-party libraries

The app uses these third-party libraries:

The app uses your Google Advertising ID (GAID) to measure installs and improve our advertising campaigns and your experience. These libraries may process device and app data under their own policies. They do not receive your notes, PINs, reminder text, or note database. We do not display ads, and we do not sell notes or personal data.

Reset or remove your GAID. Open your device’s Settings, search for “Ads”, then choose Reset advertising ID or Delete advertising ID. The exact path and available options vary by Android version and device. You can also deny or revoke notification permission in Android settings.

7. Your choices and deletion

You can delete notes in the app, clear app storage, or uninstall the app to remove local app data. Keep or delete exported backups separately at the destination you selected. For a privacy request relating to this website or support correspondence, contact support@makemesto.online.

8. Children and policy changes

The app has no registration flow and does not ask for a user’s age or profile. Do not include sensitive personal information in support messages unnecessarily. Changes to the app or website may require changes to this policy; the date above identifies the current version.
